Full hardening heat treatment
The heat treatment of the rolls is performed in vertical furnaces with gas protective atmosphere. The whole heat treatment process is digitally controlled with central computer. The data is always available for later use and research. A quality steel and the heat treatment give to the rolls all the necessary characteristics, as:
- toughness
- breakage resistance
- crack and pitting resistance
- wear resistance
